This "Lai Lai Pig's Knuckle Rice" is located near Taipei Main Station, about a 2-minute walk from Exit Z6. I passed by it at 5:40 pm on weekdays and found many customers standing at the door, so I wanted to buy it and eat it.
In fact, there is a seating area for inside use on the second floor, but I see that all the customers are taking out.
The boss is very kind and is responsible for cutting the meat, while the other staff are responsible for ordering, paying, picking up dishes, etc.
Leg Ku rice $120
The leg meat is very large, and the pork skin is very elastic. I like it if I like fat meat. However, the lean meat is very dry, and it’s a bit painful to eat.
There are three side dishes in the bento. The fried tofu tastes good but is very mini, too small to be a side dish. The braised cabbage and shredded bamboo shoots are average, tasty but not too salty.
There is a lot of marinade, almost all the rice is covered with marinade, it goes very well with the rice, and the rice is finished in one bite after another.
Overall, the store environment looks neat and clean, and the food tastes about 70 points. However, I think the side dishes are a bit ordinary. The price is $120. I think the cp value is low. If the price is less than $100, I may be more willing to visit again.
