Every time I travel abroad, what I can never forget is Taiwan's breakfast shops. Every single one is delicious 🤤. This place is a breakfast shop near my home, but it used to be closed on Sundays. Recently, they changed to opening on Sundays, so I finally had the chance to joyfully dine here today.
🌟 Tuna Egg Pancake and Corn Egg Pancake
The pancake skin is fried to a very crispy texture. It doesn't have that soft and mushy feel typical of traditional breakfast shops. Since I dined in, it was even hotter and crispier. The seasoning of the tuna pairs perfectly with the egg pancake, not too independent or overpowering. It's a dish I must order every time I eat here. The corn egg pancake has a stronger sweetness from the corn, and adding sauce gives it a nostalgic feeling of being back in Tainan 🤣.
🌟 Ham Egg Cheese Pancake
I have always loved breakfast options with cheese pancakes because I'm a huge fan of flaky soup (even though it's quite rich). The cheese pancake here is wrapped very tightly and doesn't stick at all—super interesting. The flavor is what you would expect from a typical breakfast shop.
Overall, because of the crispy egg pancakes, this will be a breakfast shop I return to. Plus, the owner is very nice. By the way, they use a QR code for ordering, so remember to submit your order. We forgot to submit ours after ordering and sat there for a long time, thinking we were being considerate by not rushing them. Then the owner walked over and asked, "Hey, did you submit your order?" 🤣🤣🤣. They also have mobile payment options, which is very convenient since so many breakfast shops do not offer mobile payment these days 🥲. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍
