My friend suddenly said on Monday afternoon after class that they wanted to go eat at a cat cafe and have dinner at the same time. Which cat cafes are open during dinner hours? I found this place that has cats in the corner, which happens to meet all our requirements (though it’s a bit far), so we chose it.
I originally thought there wouldn’t be many people on a Monday afternoon, but when we arrived around 4:10 PM, we were told that we could only have a seat at 5:00 PM. We had to make a reservation and then wandered around nearby; we waited almost an hour to get in, but it was not as crowded as when they first opened.
The dining area is all Japanese-style tatami. According to reviews, it’s a renovated old Japanese house with a consistent wooden texture style. Although the cat area is separate from the dining area, the cats tend to wander around near the guests (but not so much when it’s busy). They’re quite unafraid of people, though they might argue with each other XD.

🌻 Japanese BBQ brunch $360
The seasoning is not too salty and the flavor is relatively mild (which I personally like), but the portion is a bit small. Considering the price, the cost-performance ratio is low, which means you might not get full if you treat it as a main meal...
However, the BBQ part is quite tasty, though the scrambled eggs have a stronger eggy taste that I didn’t really like. Overall, it’s acceptable but I wouldn’t particularly recommend it (it’s quite expensive).
My friend ordered:
🌻 Sous vide chicken cheese (Mexican tortilla) $320
I also saw that the portion was on the small side for the price. My friend didn’t mention that it was particularly delicious, so it’s probably just decent? However, it looks quite appealing, so if you’re interested in tortillas, you might want to give it a try.

If you really like cats and Japanese wooden architecture, you can come to check it out, but the meals are indeed quite expensive, and they also charge a 10% service fee. For me, this is a trendy spot I would only visit once…
