Today I visited a Wooden Bowl restaurant that looked very healthy to enjoy dinner. The decor inside is very bright, and although it isn’t large, the seating is quite comfortable. The dining space and counter can be viewed from outside, and during meal times, quite a few people also order takeout, so the business seems to be doing well.

This time I ordered the smoked salmon salad, and for the dressing, I chose "Spanish Balsamic Vinegar." The name of this salad dressing looked special, so I thought I would give it a try. The balsamic vinegar comes in a unique packaging; you just have to squeeze it to dispense the dressing. It tastes sweet and sour, with a texture somewhat like a Japanese-style dressing, but it isn’t too sour. I personally found it quite tasty and a perfect match for the smoked salmon’s flavor.

The salad is served in their signature wooden bowl, and the portion looks generous. A single serving for $220 is actually not bad. There are two slices of smoked salmon that taste very fresh, and the saltiness from the smoking is just right, making the whole bowl of salad rich in flavor. 😋

I also ordered a combo set, which came with Focaccia bread, and for the soup, I chose tomato vegetable soup. The Focaccia bread is soft and still retains some warmth from heating, and it’s delicious when dipped in the tomato soup.

The tomato vegetable soup is fairly standard, but it meets expectations—it's a reliable soup dish.

Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the seating area is kept clean. The service was polite. The prices for the meals are acceptable; the salad is very good. If you want a healthy meal, this Wooden Bowl Salad is a pretty good option.

Their menu offers dozens of different main course salads to choose from, and in terms of drinks, besides coffee and tea, there are also many freshly squeezed juices available, so you don’t have to worry about getting bored quickly.

Personally, I would be willing to visit again next time!
