🦆 Recommended by Sato Takeru! Affordable Peking Duck Wraps in Yokohama's Chinatown 🌯
When I searched online for must-eat places in Chinatown, I came across a restaurant called Chinatown Grand Hotel. I wasn't initially interested in Peking duck, and the location wasn't on the main road, but I noticed a lot of people continuously buying from there!
It turns out that Chinatown Grand Hotel is a very affordable all-you-can-eat restaurant, particularly famous for its authentic Peking duck flavor. They've also opened a takeout stall at the entrance, where you can buy items perfect for eating on the go.
Interestingly, this place was also visited by the artist Sato Takeru on his YouTube channel in 2023, where he showcased a signed video with a QR code for direct viewing. Sato Takeru had the Peking duck wrap and shark fin soup, but I only bought the wrap.
The wrap is only 350 yen, made fresh upon order. It's actually a small wrap, containing a slice of meat and some shredded green onions. The duck meat is quite chewy and has a bit of a rich flavor, though I personally found the sweet bean sauce to be a bit too much. Overall, it was still tasty.
Chinatown has a high tolerance for eating while walking, but honestly, it's more convenient to eat it on-site and then dispose of the trash! With the small portions, you can buy more items from various stalls to enjoy!
