This time, I visited the store 'Journey to the West' which is just a 4-minute walk from Motomachi-Chukagai Station! At the 1st floor entrance, they sell freshly made Hong Kong specialties like Char Siu Melon Bread and meat buns.

Since I was going for a food walk, I opted for takeout this time, but you can enjoy authentic Hong Kong dim sum and Cantonese cuisine on the 2nd floor, all prepared from scratch by professional chefs from China. The dim sum and dumplings are said to be exquisite!

Among the recommendations are the "Authentic Soup Dumplings" from Wangfujing and the "Char Siu Melon Bread."

The "Authentic Soup Dumplings" are extremely popular and delicious, representing Chinatown's signature dish. The chef passionately creates these dumplings, pursuing perfection in cooking method, ingredients, filling, skin, and flavor, with numerous media features! They say this place sells about 50,000 dumplings a day!

The "Char Siu Melon Bread," our pride, is handmade daily from scratch by a chef from mainland China. It features a unique crunchy texture typical of melon bread and a hot, gooey filling of char siu.

The menu I ordered:
"Char Siu Melon Bread"
It looked small and petite. The thin skin of the crispy melon bread is packed with chunky char siu that’s almost spilling out, so it definitely provides a satisfying feeling. The char siu is seasoned strongly, complementing the sweet melon bread dough perfectly!

The interior is designed with great care for each piece of decor. It has a modern atmosphere, making it comfortable and relaxing. You might find yourself wanting to stay longer.
Be sure to enjoy a wonderful time at the restaurant with authentic Hong Kong dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. The 2nd floor is open and offers a view of the vibrant streets of Chinatown and the market street through the windows!
Take a break for your tired feet from the food walking, and enjoy a lovely time in a space where carefully selected dishes are served.

Once again, Harapeko-chan is completely satisfied!
Thank you for the meal!
