Located on B1 of Taipei Main Station, there are many snack and souvenir shops nearby. I decided to buy fried buns for lunch at noon.
Cabbage wrap $17
The ratio of glass noodles to cabbage is about 1:1, which is quite balanced. There are also some vegetarian mushrooms (?), but the amount is quite small, more like decoration; the seasoning is delicious, and you don’t feel like you are eating vegetarian buns.
Fresh meat buns $17
It's a little oily, and my whole mouth is oily after eating it. There are some green onions in the pork filling, and the seasoning is very good, but I think it's a little bit lacking, so I'm not satisfied.
I feel that the skin of both fried buns is a bit thick, and there will be a few bites where you can almost only eat the skin and not the fillings; but overall, they are delicious, and after eating two of them, I still feel that it is not enough.
I added some signature chili sauce, it’s just a little spicy, it’s pretty good and the taste is even better. People who dare to eat spicy food recommend it.
I remember buying Lao Cai fried buns for 8 yuan ten years ago. Now it is more than double. But buying two for lunch only costs 34 yuan, which is still acceptable. I will visit again~
