Woosa has always been a very stable chain store, especially known for its amazing waffles. The savory dishes have always performed decently—average—but I have always had a favorite savory dish, which is the kimchi Matsusaka pork rice with tea. However, this time the menu has changed, and I am momentarily unsure of what to choose.
🌟 Cheese and Prosciutto Tagliatelle
This is what I ordered. When it arrived, there was a raw egg that I could stir in to make the pasta smoother. The prosciutto was a bit salty, which I’m not quite used to. Additionally, the new tagliatelle had a rather soft texture that I found unappetizing. The seasoning wasn’t bad, but it was just average.
🌟 Tender Shoulder Beef Curry Rice
This curry rice had a very generous portion. There was an egg omelet on top, adding another layer of texture. The beef was in the form of pan-fried slices, and the beef flavor was quite pronounced. The curry did not have much sweetness; it was more of a black curry, and it was fairly good.
🌟 Classic Honey Cloud Waffles
In my opinion, the most delicious food at Woosa is this dish. Whether in flavor or texture, it is incredibly tasty. I feel like it’s easy to finish an entire plate on your own because it’s so delicious. However, the calories prevent us from finishing it all. 🤣🤣
🌟 Lemon Cloud Waffles
Actually, the only difference from the classic honey version is the sauce that comes with it. The original comes with honey, while the lemon version comes with lemon-flavored sauce. When we added the sauce, it tasted a bit too sweet, so we only dipped into it. Still, it's very delicious.
Overall, it’s a dessert full of points, and the savory dishes are basically average for a chain restaurant. As more branches open, the queueing situation isn't as severe as before, which I think is great. Although in Taipei, we still often have to queue. 😂😂
