This time, I visited 'LINA STORES,' located just a 1-minute walk from Omotesando Station! The restaurant uses Italian flour and fresh eggs, and skilled artisans make fresh pasta daily in their in-house pasta workshop.
'LINA STORES' is named after Lina, the founder from Genoa, Italy. It opened in 1944 in the Soho area of London and now has 5 locations throughout the city, being a popular Italian delicatessen and restaurant.
The handmade fresh pasta not only includes classic pasta loved in Italy but also incorporates regional specialties. They use Italian flour and fresh eggs, with skilled artisans making the pasta daily in the in-house pasta workshop. The menu is filled with unique and innovative pasta shapes, making it exciting just to look at the options! Each pasta is seasoned with sauces that enhance their textures and features.
Menu I ordered this time:
【Green Salad】
The simple green salad is topped with generous amounts of parmesan cheese and nuts, making it a fun textural experience.
【Ratatouille】
The ratatouille maximizes the sweetness of the vegetables, allowing you to truly enjoy the flavors of the ingredients!
【New Potatoes and Green Beans in Genovese Sauce with Casarecce】
Casarecce means "homemade" or "handmade" in Italian and is a type of Sicilian pasta traditionally made by families. Its unique S-shaped cut with grooves allows the sauce to cling perfectly, letting you fully enjoy the deliciousness of the Genovese sauce with the pasta.
The interior had a stylish atmosphere with a light green theme. There are terrace seats, so it’s nice to be able to eat outside when the weather is good!
Once again, I’m fully satisfied! Thank you for the meal.
