This time I went to Yilan City and ate at a famous fried noodle shop. There was a constant stream of people outside the door from early in the morning. Moreover, this shop opened at 6 o'clock and closed at 2 pm, so I wanted to eat this. Come home as early as possible!
We all ordered the signature fried noodles. We originally thought that if we ordered a small bowl, we would not be full, but when it was served, we found that the bowl was huge! The noodles are just like the photo, a big lump! Fortunately, I didn't order a big bowl, otherwise I would have been overstuffed. It tastes different from the fried noodles in my impression. I thought it was the "sesame paste" kind, but it's actually not that sticky and doesn't stick together even after it's cold. I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was pretty good. !
The wonton soup is pretty good. I like the soup. It has chopped green onion and shallots, which is a standard taste of Taiwanese local snacks. The wontons are not big, but they have thin skin and plenty of fillings. They are quite delicious and not too burdensome to eat.
While we were eating, there were people waiting for takeout outside the store, and the number of customers inside was also changing in batches. It seemed that the business was really good. I didn’t think this restaurant was so impressive that I would definitely eat there again. But for a first try, it was better than expected.
