金春發牛肉店

A rare century-old store in Taiwan, it was founded in 1897. I only remember that this was two years after the Sino-Japanese War of 1898-1898 (how much I was tortured by the textbooks😂)

The space in the store is quite large, and it is still full of regular customers during dining hours, so you may have to wait for a while. From the visual inspection, the customers in the store may be office workers or residents nearby. The price of the meals is slightly higher, which is more suitable for gourmets who are not looking for a meal.

Use QR code to order food at the table. I like that old restaurants are willing to use new technology.

Most people recommend the stir-fried curry beef noodles, which is really good. The Taiwanese turmeric curry has a strong flavor, the noodles are fried very delicious, and the beef is soft and tender. "Taiwanese turmeric curry" often reminds me of the school group meals I had when I was a kid, but it's usually not very well cooked. Later, when I got out of society, I discovered that the curry fried noodles in many stores are popular choices.
The beef offal noodles are also quite good. The stewed soup is salty, and the beef offal and noodles have a perfect balance. It seems easy to say, but actually the stewed beef noodles are the most difficult to make delicious. Stores with insufficient skills may separate the flavors of the soup, beef, and noodles.
I also ordered a small platter (beef tripe + beef offal). The braised beef flavor is very mouth-watering, and it is highly recommended for those with deep pockets. By the way, this dish may have used a lot of salt water, and some pieces were a bit salty, but the flaws are not hidden.
