During this visit to the PARCO CITY shopping mall in Okinawa, we stopped by a restaurant located in the food street called "Gokumiya Okinawa Parco City" which specializes in beef dishes, particularly notable for their beef hamburger steak.

This restaurant offers an English menu, making it friendly for travelers who do not understand Japanese. The portions and prices are quite reasonable, ideal for a comfortable lunch or an afternoon meal.

We ordered the signature beef hamburger steak set, which was served with raw hamburger meat and a hot iron plate, allowing us to grill it to our preferred doneness. This semi-DIY eating style is actually quite interesting and ensures that you get to enjoy it piping hot. The quality of the meat itself is excellent, tender and juicy, and dipping it into the accompanying sauce or sea salt adds different flavors, making it a delicious meal. The white rice was exceptionally good, with each grain distinct and slightly chewy, the kind of Japanese rice that lingers in your memory after finishing.

When eating, it's recommended to choose a seat by the window, as the food street in PARCO CITY offers direct views of the Okinawa sea. Enjoying the meal while looking at the sea and the sunlight streaming in creates a truly chill atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining experience.
