It’s time to introduce the hidden delicacies in the alleys again! Today I’m visiting a Korean instant noodle shop. Their fried chicken is not to be underestimated!
This store is located near 228 Park. It is only a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of National Taiwan University Hospital and a 6-minute walk from Taipei Main Station Exit M8. It is hidden at the end of a secret dead end alley. shop~
It must have just opened not long ago, and because of the location, no one seems to know about this store yet. There is only one group of customers except us when we arrive around 7pm on weekdays.
There are quite a few seats in the store, the decoration design is simple and comfortable, and the boss and his wife are very kind and polite.
[Introduction to Korean instant noodles]
There are a total of 19 kinds of instant noodles to choose from, including shin ramen, cheese instant noodles, kimchi ramen, etc., so you don’t have to worry about not being able to choose the flavor you want to eat.
You can also choose the portion size. There are options of plain vegetables and eggs, or options of adding sliced meat or hot pot ingredients. You can also add slices of cheese if you want.
All come with two kinds of side dishes, including kimchi, spicy bean sprouts, cucumbers, dried shreds, and quail eggs. However, when we ordered, we only had kimchi and quail eggs, so there was no need to choose.
[Introduction to fried chicken]
I saw someone on the Internet commenting that this restaurant is a fried chicken restaurant that was delayed by instant noodles 😂 It sells three flavors of fried chicken: Taiwanese original salt and pepper, Korean garlic sweet and spicy, and American honey cream.
Egg + vegetables + pork slices instant noodles $120
We chose sesame flavor ramen and Anseong noodle soup. I prefer sesame flavor ramen. The taste is a little spicy, with a little sesame oil aroma but not too obvious. I can’t feel the sesame flavor. The soup is warm and delicious. Of course I I haven’t finished it yet. After all, it’s still a seasoning packet, so I’d better take care of my health. 😂 Anseong noodle soup tastes a bit like a lighter miso soup. It’s not bad, but it’s just ordinary.
The noodles are thicker curly noodles like Korean instant noodles. I like the texture, but I suggest you eat them early. While I was chatting, the noodles became a bit soft from the soaking.
The ingredients for instant noodles are just a few slices of Qingjiang vegetables, an egg, and 3-4 slices of pork. It is quite thin, but the amount of noodles is quite large. Overall, it is quite filling and delicious. If you feel that the ingredients are too little, You can add hotpot ingredients
An important point: Please choose quail eggs as a side dish! It’s delicious enough!
American honey butter fried chicken $190
Because I missed the Gyochon fried chicken I had in Korea, I chose the honey cream flavor.
There are a total of 7 pieces of fried chicken, which are quite big, so you can order them! The skin of the fried chicken is super crispy, I love it~ The honey butter is delicious, I highly recommend this flavor!
The chicken is very tender and retains its juices. The only pity is that you need to pay more attention to the doneness of the meat. One or two pieces of meat have a bit of a strong flavor.
Overall, the atmosphere is comfortable and the environment is clean and tidy. It is quite suitable to have a simple dinner here with friends and chat. The instant noodles are basically hard to miss. If you like Korean instant noodles, you can come here ~ The fried chicken part is personal It is recommended to order it, it is delicious ~ I will want to visit again!
