I went to a place in Tenma that serves delicious chao men 🇹🇼.

The shop is called Osaka Chao Men at Tenma Market, located just behind Tenma station on the JR Osaka Loop Line 🚃.

The storefront was bright and had an inviting atmosphere ✨.

For drinks, I ordered:
Oolong tea 🐦‍⬛ for 352 yen
Draft beer 🍺 for 495 yen.

For food, I ordered:
Steamed fresh seaweed with oyster sauce 🦪 for 396 yen
Signature chao men 🍜 for 1070 yen
Three types of dim sum 🇹🇼 for 550 yen x2
Steamed chicken with ginger and green onion sauce 🐔 for 762 yen
Mentaiko butter with taro 🧈 for 539 yen
Chimaki (bamboo-wrapped rice dumplings) 🔥 for 550 yen
Today’s shuumai, chicken and lotus root shuumai 🐔 for 209 yen.

The steamed fresh seaweed with oyster sauce 🦪 was served as an appetizer ✨. The crunchy large seaweed combined with the oyster sauce was rich and delicious 🦪.

Three types of dim sum 🇹🇼:
Juicy shuumai 🐷 had flying fish roe on top, and was packed with meat, delicious and flavorful.
Xiaolongbao 🇹🇼 had chewy skin with plenty of hot soup inside and was delicious 🇹🇼.
Shrimp dumplings 🦐 were filled with plenty of chives and strong shrimp flavor, very tasty 🦐.

The signature chao men 🍜 featured extra fine egg noodles steamed and then pan-fried until crispy on one side, served with a rich filling underneath. The aroma and texture of the noodles were great! The staff helped me with the best way to serve it ✨. They plated it to avoid sauce pouring over the crispy noodles ✨. There were many crunchy ingredients such as wood ear mushrooms and water chestnuts ✨. The noodles were crispy, fragrant, and incredibly delicious 🍜. The filling was creamy with pork and squid mixed in, matching perfectly with the noodles and was absolutely tasty 🥰.

The steamed chicken with ginger and green onion sauce 🐔 had plenty of ginger and green onion sauce over the steamed chicken. The chicken was tender and bouncy, and the ginger sauce was flavorful and very delicious 🥰.

Mentaiko butter with taro 🧈 was soft and the steamed taro was pleasantly sticky and fluffy, pairing perfectly with the mentaiko butter, it was delicious 🥰.

Chimaki 🔥 was filled with lots of tender meat 🐮. The meat was soft, the glutinous rice was chewy, and it was flavorful and delicious 🍚.

The chicken and lotus root shuumai 🐔 had fluffy chicken and a crunchy texture from the lotus root, which was tasty 🐔.

I enjoyed trying these new menu items, and it was delicious ✨. The menu was diverse, and I want to try more dishes next time ☺️.
