📍 Taipei Shihpai Metro Station
It's a bit of a distance from the metro station, about a 12-minute walk. This is a shop that specializes in potstickers and dumplings, and you can see the staff making dumplings and potstickers on site, which is very fresh. The shop also sells frozen dumplings, and you can call ahead to place an order.
Meals🥘
Potstickers / 7 TWD each:
The potstickers are served freshly pan-fried, with a crispy outer skin and very juicy filling. The ratio of skin to filling is just right, so it doesn't feel like there's too much skin and not enough filling. If you like crispy potstickers, you should definitely give these a try.
Dumplings / 7 TWD each:
Personally, I prefer their dumplings over potstickers. The skin is softer and retains a nice wheat flavor even without dipping sauce. The filling has a sweet vegetable flavor, and the seasoning is just right, so there's no need to add any extra condiments.
Hot and Sour Soup / 35 TWD:
The hot and sour soup is on the sweeter side but has a moderate thickness with a hint of cornstarch, and it's not overly rich, making it very smooth to drink. You can add a lot of black pepper for a stronger flavor.
In summary, since the shop operates later, it would be a great late-night snack option if you live nearby! 🤣
