I was looking forward to the famous Weiquan Rice Cake store in Zhongxiao Night Market, whether it was from Google reviews or word of mouth from locals, but I didn’t expect it to be to my liking at all.
The rice cake is soft and sticky and has no taste at all. It has no taste when you bite it, as if you are eating a ball of starch, and it is only supported by the thin meat.
The sweet and spicy sauce doesn't taste like Dongquan's, it's quite ordinary, and overall it's not good at all (could it be that the quality just happened to be bad today, I don't know) but I won't visit again~
