[Foodholic Niko @ Taipei]
The "office worker breakfast" is a traditional Taiwanese breakfast shop. When I went out searching for food on Saturday morning, I happened to pass by it. The environment looked quite clean and hygienic, so I decided to give it a try.
The dining area does not have air conditioning, so it might be a bit hot in the summer; we originally planned to take our food to go.
The counter is managed by the owner, who is very friendly. Today, something a bit embarrassing happened. After preparing our meal, the owner said, "Exactly 200," and we suddenly realized we hadn't brought our wallet with us. The owner quickly noticed our panic and kindly said, "It's okay, you can pay me later!" We rushed home to get the money for her, feeling that the owner is truly a good person. 🥹
Grilled Combo $60
For takeout, it is divided into two sandwiches. I felt like a pig for eating two sandwiches. The ingredients included a combination of pork, ham, fried egg, and shredded cucumber. It was quite ordinary, and overall, I found it a bit dry. Both the toast and the fillings were dry, so if they could add a bit more mayonnaise or ketchup, the taste would be better.
Hot Dog $20
There were only two hot dogs, which felt a bit pricey. They tasted standard, with a soft texture, and the skin wasn't crispy enough.
Large Iced Milk Tea $30
It had the classic large iced milk tea flavor, and you can't adjust the sweetness. It was a bit sweet, and drinking a lot of it could get overwhelming.
