Thank you Fooday🥳 for inspiring me to try more different culinary delights🍽
🚩Location🧭
Located near the intersection of Dazhi Road and Heping Street in East District, Taichung City, close to the Daluge New Era Shopping Center.
🪑About the overall atmosphere🎡
The sign features a large image of rice dumplings and duck rice. After ordering in front, you can go inside to eat, where the air conditioning is open; they accept LINE Pay. There is a restroom inside, and opening the door leads to the kitchen, which feels like another world; it's super hot in there; working in this environment is really tough!
💰About the pricing💰
Combo No. 3 is $90, including braised pork rice + wonton soup + fried egg.
🍴About the food☕
The braised pork rice is served in a small bowl with little meat, and I found it quite salty; the ratio of lean to fatty meat is about 2:1. The wonton soup contains about 6 wontons, which are pretty good, at least better than the one from the adjacent Yu Kuo Xiang as they are cooked well and have a familiar wonton texture. The fried egg is nothing special, leaving one feeling empty; the free drinks provided in the restaurant are super sweet.
🤨Conclusion♥
This is one of the places on my ongoing list I passed by. Overall, the portions are small and salty; however, the wonton soup is decent, but using the restroom here is not a good choice due to the hellishly hot temperature.
