This establishment is Ze Hsin Kee, located in the alleys of Rua da Calçada in Macau, specializing in creative egg waffles. This time, I noticed many people queuing up, and the storefront decor was of high quality, so I decided to give it a try.

We ordered the store's popular item, the Portuguese tart egg balls (41 Macau Patacas). The appearance is similar to an enlarged version of egg waffles, and each ball is plump and solid. The filling has a Portuguese tart flavor, and when you take a bite, the egg aroma is very rich. The outer layer is slightly crispy, and the filling is dense, with a moderate sweetness that makes you want to keep eating.

They are made fresh to order, so you need to wait a bit, but it’s worth the wait. The portion is quite generous, and finishing a serving leaves you feeling full.
