This time I visited a high-end steakhouse that has received Michelin stars for several years!
I think everyone should know some of the famous high-end steakhouses in Taipei.
The Godfather Steakhouse is definitely one of them.
In the past, when I mentioned that I went to eat at Godfather Steakhouse,
Others would look at me with envious eyes!

But this is my first time eating here! 😂😂😂

Although it accidentally slipped off the Michelin list this year,
With so many years of Michelin experience,
It should still be pretty good, right?
So, I decided to visit and try it out!

However, the location is quite far.
After all, it's in Dazhi~~~
It does take some time to go there specifically for a meal.

The overall appearance and interior are very atmospheric,
Especially at night, it looks quite romantic.

However, I do think it's a bit of a pity.
Although Godfather Steakhouse specializes in steaks,
I feel that the overall steak experience isn't exceptionally outstanding.
While the handling of the steak is quite good,
And the appearance of the dishes is very high-end,

I think for this price,
You could have better quality steaks that provide a more satisfying experience.
But it seems a bit harder to find that in Taiwan.

Maybe it's because I've had more affordable yet delicious steaks in the U.S. 😂😂😂

Overall, I feel the dining atmosphere here is quite good,
Very romantic, you could say the lighting is nice,
It's still quite suitable for celebrating important holidays or anniversaries.

After all, sometimes a brand name represents
Eating here is a high-end experience.
Very luxurious!

⭐️ Food Segment
👉 Pan-seared Hokkaido Scallops
This is a smaller portion of Hokkaido scallops.
Overall, there's nothing particularly outstanding or impressive about it.

👉 Shark Fin and Abalone Soup
The special part is that it first serves the toppings for the soup,
Then the soup itself is poured in.
The abalone and shark fin soup is quite refreshing and light,
Which is a nice part.

👉 American Prime Ribeye Steak
I personally prefer my steak medium-rare.
As for the doneness, I think it's handled just right,
And quite suitable for the quality of the meat.
Not too cooked or too raw.

But for me, it tasted like a standard steak,
Nothing particularly memorable or stunning about it~~~
So I think for one of the top few well-known high-end steakhouses in Taiwan,
This is a bit disappointing.
After all, food needs to be taken seriously,
Maybe I just didn’t taste anything particularly unique. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

👉 Dessert
I chose the cheesecake for dessert.
I actually think the dessert fared quite well among today's overall dishes.
While not extremely delicious,
I feel the dessert's performance is quite excellent.

Additionally, besides the cake, there were also cute little cookies.
Not only are they charmingly shaped,
But they taste quite good too!

I don’t mean to say that Godfather Steakhouse's steak is bad;
It has definitely surpassed many outside steaks.
But our expectations are higher!

After all, it was once a Michelin restaurant,
And has been a well-known steakhouse in Taiwan for many years.
So, in my mind, it can't just pass muster. 🥹🥹🥹

Especially since I felt a bit empty after the meal,
Not really sure what I just ate.
It felt like I had something tasty but also nothing at all. 😂😂

I wonder if anyone else felt similarly?

But in terms of steak,
I think it’s still worth a try!

⭐️ Drinks Section
Of course, when eating steak, pairing it with some wine is natural.
They also provide a wine list for everyone to choose from,
Whether red or white wine, or cocktails, it’s all available.

I casually ordered a cocktail that day,
And it was above standard with no issues.

⭐️ Atmosphere Section
Being a former Michelin restaurant,
The atmosphere must be top-notch.
Godfather Steakhouse maintains this quite well,
With elegant decor both inside and outside.

Walking in, you find yourself in a very comfortable and tasteful dining space.
However, the seating arrangements and the distance between the tables surprised me.
In the general dining area outside,
The tables are quite close to each other,
Which in the dining experience,
Makes one feel very close to the neighboring diners.

You can easily be influenced by nearby conversations.
So, I think they could increase the space a bit,
It would be much more comfortable.

⭐️ Service Section
The service at this steakhouse is quite good.
After all, it is a high-end restaurant,
With a certain level of training for the waitstaff.
Their introductions are quite detailed,
And they are quick to refill water.

However, there’s nothing particularly special in other services.

Also, Godfather Steakhouse currently offers online reservations,
And it really isn’t difficult to book!
So when you think of dining on some high-end steak, feel free to make an online reservation!

Or if you want to celebrate some special occasion but struggle to find a nice place,
This is a great option for making an online reservation at Godfather Steakhouse!

⭐️ Price Section
Being a high-end Michelin restaurant,
The prices won’t be very cheap.
But considering the current pricing, I don’t think it’s overly expensive.

However, since I personally feel the steak didn’t fully satisfy me,
The price-to-value ratio is quite low.
I always feel you could get better steaks for the same price. 🥲🥲🥲

I wonder if it’s because my standards for steak are really too high?

⭐️ Overall Review
I think if one lowers their standards,
The steak here is still quite good.
It’s just because of previous Michelin expectations being so high,
I thought coming to such a famous steakhouse like Godfather,
There should be some special highlights.
But I personally didn’t find those.

So I feel a bit disappointed,
It’s almost like I just visited a regular steakhouse,
Ordering a decent steak to eat.

Of course, I think this place is still very suitable for celebrating various special occasions,
Because the atmosphere and service remain quite good.
But if you really want to enjoy some delicious steak,
I didn’t experience that feeling here. 🥲

Is this perhaps why they couldn’t regain their Michelin star this year? 🥺🥺🥺

location台北市中山區 牛排界應該是算相當老牌的牛排館 但是我到今天才是第一次吃 台北的選擇實在是太多了 一到門口就是滿滿的米其林貼紙 入座之後就是氣泡水和水的選擇 此次選了氣泡水我喝了一堆🤣🤣🤣 🌟前菜-蟹肉餅 教父的蟹肉餅是滿滿的蟹肉 搭配洋蔥等其他香料 非常香 而且煎得非常酥脆 我自己很喜歡 之前吃過莫爾頓 比較喜歡教父的 🌟牛肝菌卡布奇諾 這是湯品的名字 那時候在做功課的時候有看到這個湯 似乎是非常招牌的 上菜的時候滿滿牛肝菌香 看起來很像咖啡 又像喝又像用吃的感覺 整體味道很濃 還不錯喝 🌟美國菲力牛排(3分熟) 超級軟嫩到菲力牛排 上面有調味過的醬 切的時候 雖然可以看到有一部分的血色 看起來雖然有點恐怖 但吃下去超級軟嫩 推推! 🌟配菜-奶油玉米、烤馬鈴薯 我選奶油玉米之後 超級後悔🤣🤣 因為偏普通欸 很像家裡自己可以做出來的口味 可惜了 烤馬鈴薯是同行友人點的 超級香超級好吃 很推這個 不要選我選的奶油玉米🤣 🌟起司蛋糕、熱鮮奶茶 餐點上完之後會提供甜點跟飲料的菜單 天氣冷 選了熱鮮奶茶 搭配了熱茶跟鮮奶 都非常美味 很香好喝 起司蛋糕的部分有一點點的酒味 讓起司不會太膩口 非常美味 整體來說所有的餐點都蠻好吃的 而且還套餐 等於那個金額可以有這麼多食物 我覺得蠻划算的🤣🤣🤣 可能是被那些單點店鞭打習慣了 看到套餐的忽然覺得好像CP值很高 推推❤️❤️❤️
