教父牛排 Danny's Steak House

The steak world is considered a well-established steakhouse. However, today is the first time I’ve eaten here. There are just too many options in Taipei. As soon as I arrived at the entrance, I was greeted by a wall of Michelin stickers. After being seated, I was offered a choice of sparkling or still water; I opted for sparkling water and ended up drinking a lot of it! 🤣🤣🤣
🌟 Appetizer - Crab Cake
The Godfather's crab cake is packed with crab meat, complemented by onions and other spices. It’s very aromatic and fried to a perfect crisp. I really liked it; I had previously tried Morton’s and I prefer The Godfather's.
🌟 Porcini Cappuccino
This is the name of the soup. When I was doing my research, I came across this soup which seems to be a signature dish. When served, the aroma of the porcini mushrooms was overwhelming. It looked a lot like coffee, giving the impression of something to sip or eat. Overall, the flavor was rich and it tasted pretty good.
🌟 US Filet Steak (Medium Rare)
The filet steak was incredibly tender. It was topped with a flavored sauce. When cut, you could see some blood, which looked a bit scary, but it was super soft and tender when eaten. Highly recommended!
🌟 Sides - Creamy Corn and Baked Potato
After choosing the creamy corn, I totally regretted it! 🤣🤣 It was rather ordinary, resembling something one could easily make at home. What a shame! The baked potato, ordered by my dining companion, was incredibly fragrant and delicious. I strongly recommend this—don’t choose the creamy corn I picked! 🤣
🌟 Cheesecake and Hot Fresh Milk Tea
After the meal was served, we were presented with a dessert and drink menu. Since it was cold, I chose hot fresh milk tea, which paired beautifully with hot tea and fresh milk. Both were delicious and fragrant. The cheesecake had a slight alcohol flavor that prevented it from being overly rich; it was very tasty.
Overall, all the meals were quite delicious, and with the set menu, it felt like a great value to have so much food for that amount. I thought it was quite a bargain! 🤣🤣🤣 I might have gotten used to being whipped by those à la carte places, so seeing a set menu suddenly made me feel like it was a great deal. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️
