Taipei Neihu - A very local vegan restaurant that offers rice and vegetable bento as well as options for hot pot, noodles, dumplings, and more. You can choose five-grain rice at no extra charge!
📍 Vegetarian Fragrant Vegetable Rice NT$85
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
You can choose five types of vegetables, and the rice is five-grain rice. The portion size is just right, neither too much nor too little; if I eat like this every day, I might lose some weight! The tofu served is a generous piece! The stir-fried greens are okay, but I think the cabbage portion is a bit small. The stir-fried wood ear mushrooms with king oyster mushrooms are quite good!
▶️ Environment
🔹 Four tables for four people (three of the four-person tables have hot pot stoves), and two tables for two (one of which has a hot pot stove)
🔹 The decor has a very religious vibe (vegan, millennia, ethereal~~~) and there is a lot of clutter
🔹 Spicy pickled vegetables are available for self-service
🔹 Cutlery is self-service (please note that it’s in the same area as the recycling collection to avoid taking used ones)
🔹 The place has a bit of a pleasant aroma, filled with a Buddhist essence~
▶️ Friendly Reminder
🔹 Order first and check out
🔹 Cash only
🔹 After dining, please return the cutlery to the recycling area
▶️ Overall Evaluation
🔹 The lady who serves the vegetables feels a bit unfriendly and somewhat cool! There is a glass partition in between, so it’s advisable to speak up when ordering; I'm afraid she might not hear. The utensils and tables feel a bit sticky, and the food is acceptable, but the indoor environment is not as comfortable. They didn't have air conditioning that day, and it was a bit stuffy, so I would recommend taking the bento for takeout!
