Stall 007 of Ningxia Night Market, which is relatively close to the main entrance of Ningxia Night Market. I suddenly wanted to eat takoyaki, but I wanted to change the taste other than Japanese octopus balls, so I chose this restaurant.
When I saw that a box of six takoyaki costs $70, I thought it was more expensive because of the large octopus inside, but it turned out not to be the case. The small octopus pieces were the same as regular takoyaki, so I didn’t think it was worth it.
(Later I found out that the Japanese octopus dumplings in the Ningxia night market also increased to 70 yuan a box... Such a price 😢)
There are four flavors of takoyaki to choose from at this restaurant, namely signature soyaki, spicy, wasabi, and honey mustard. I chose the most classic signature soyaki, which is the flavor of ordinary takoyaki. Soy sauce + mayonnaise + seaweed powder + bonito flakes
It was a little burnt and had too much mayonnaise. Even I, who like mayonnaise, found it a bit greasy. After eating it, I just felt it was salty. After eating, my tongue felt tingly and I really wanted to drink.
Overall, I feel that the price of this takoyaki is a bit expensive and the taste is quite ordinary. Personally, I would not specifically want to buy it again unless my craving for takoyaki strikes again.
