Taipei Neihu - A local bento shop that always has long lines during meal times. The most popular dish is the braised pork rice, but unfortunately, it was sold out when I went. The bento includes three side dishes and one main dish, and they ask if you want to add braised sauce, which is generously drizzled over the braised meat, making it very hearty, and the portions of the vegetables are substantial.
📍 Braised chicken leg bento NT$120
🌕🌕🌕🌘🌑
The chicken leg didn't have anything particularly surprising about it, the braised sauce was on the sweeter side, and the chicken was not very flavorful; for NT$120, it was a bit pricey.
The dry radish served on the side was a nice touch and matched well with the rice.
There is some braised meat on top of the sauce, which is like an upgraded version of braised pork rice.

▶️ Overall rating
🔹 This bento shop is popular among locals, serving generous portions, and the vegetables are well-cooked. Unfortunately, the chicken leg bento is still a bit pricey compared to nearby options, but the meal quality is quite good!
