Braces person's comment: No restroom
This is the Shanghai pan-fried buns at Jingmei Night Market.
This well-known pan-fried bun shop always has a line. When I arrived, they only had the pork filling left, and the price has risen to 15 NT dollars each. The shop makes them fresh and pans them on the spot, cooking four buns at a time, but they are still in high demand.
Pan-fried buns are mainly about the cost-performance ratio, and the taste is decent. The pork filling has a nice fragrance, is salty enough, and pairs well with the shop's chili sauce. The size is moderate, the dough is a bit thick, the wheat flavor isn't very prominent, and I personally feel there are better options, but they win on price.
There are always crowds when passing by. If there are fewer people, you can try them without having to wait in line specifically to buy.
