#Da’an District
Since I returned from my trip to South Korea, I have been craving soy sauce crab. There are not many places in Taiwan that sell this, so after looking around, I decided to try this place that many people recommended.
The space in the restaurant is small with limited seating, so you must make a reservation to dine here. We each ordered a soy sauce crab set, and also ordered a portion of soy sauce shrimp. The difference between the set and the a la carte is that the set comes with side dishes and soup. The side dishes cannot be replenished, and I found the seaweed soup to be just average. If you don’t want these two, you could actually just order a la carte.
The main dish, the crab, was quite fresh and did not have any strange fishy odor. The meat was sweet and tender. Mixing it with rice and adding some sesame oil, then wrapping it in seaweed, was really delicious. They also provided tools for eating the crab legs.
I thought the soy sauce shrimp was even better than the crab. The meat had a nice elasticity, and the soy sauce marinade wasn’t too salty.
Overall, I think both the crab and shrimp in the main dishes were quite good. However, the restaurant space isn’t very large, and the dining environment felt a bit crowded. Also, we ordered three dishes for two people, but our dining time was only 80 minutes, which made us eat quite hurriedly. But there’s nothing to be done; the restaurant is very popular, and later reservations were all fully booked. If friends want to come here, you definitely need to make a reservation.
