If you come to Kaohsiung, you must try the pan-fried soup dumplings recommended by many people! As soon as the doors opened, there were a lot of people queuing up... There are queues for both takeout and dine-in, but most of the people wanted takeout. We went dine-in that day and didn't have to wait too long. However, the dine-in discount is one item per person. Items (Actually, you can choose between soup and pan-fried buns)
🥟Fried soup dumplings, small portion (6 pieces) 70$
The soup dumplings are quite small and there is a lot of juice inside, so be careful when scalding them! However, the filling has nothing memorable for me. Instead, it has the taste of sesame seeds on the top of the skin. The skin on the bottom has a really cool texture. It’s so crispy that I want to keep eating it! All in all, I think it’s worth trying something new (you can try the Xiaoya Taro Sago Dew next door), but I won’t want to visit again next time I visit Kaohsiung.
