🚩Location🧭
Located near the intersection of Section 2 of Meicun Road and Sanmin West Road in the South District of Taichung City, next to a Cosmed store, with a chance to park a car right at the entrance if you're lucky.
🪑About the Overall Atmosphere🎡
I remember when I came before, the food truck was very close to the entrance, but this time it seems to have been pulled back, perhaps considering that these oden ingredients shouldn’t be contaminated by dust from the road! After all, it's right on Meicun Road, where there’s a lot of traffic. There are places to dine inside, and they do have air conditioning in the summer; the ordering method is like a typical oden shop where you pick your ingredients and then hand them to the owner to cook fresh. The menu also includes fried noodles, oyster omelettes, or braised pork rice.
💰About the Pricing💰
This time I only ordered a large fried noodle for $50, but the oden is also pretty good—I've had it before. The payment method only accepts cash.
🍴About the Food☕
This place has a milder flavor, but since I usually prefer milder tastes, I found it excellent. The fried noodles aren't too greasy, and although the braised pork is a bit sparse, it doesn't come off too dry. Overall, it's the kind of place I would want to visit again.
🤨Conclusion♥
If you have time to dine in, I highly recommend this affordable oden place. Unlike other oden shops where prices are often opaque, prices are clearly marked on the menu, so there's no fear of being overcharged.
