🍴About the meal☕
For fast food, you can choose one red label (main dish) + three green labels (side dishes), which comes with a bowl of seaweed soup and white rice; the meals are very, very small, the amaranth is tender, the luffa scrambled eggs are average, and the eggplant is not too bad but not too much. The oil and bitter melon are cooked well and not too hard. The stinky tofu is said to be steamed and looks like braised, but it's really smelly. I don’t quite understand the difference between vegetarian stinky tofu and meat-based stinky tofu, but I still prefer the meat-based stinky tofu with crispy skin, which is a classic! This is a matter of opinion.

I am a regular customer of Sanyi Vegetarian Restaurant for more than ten years. It is located at No. 51, Section 2, Meicun Road, Taichung City. It has been open for many years. It has been renovated and decorated in a dark style and the location is more comfortable.

This vegetarian restaurant is really delicious, all items are of a certain standard, and there are endless crowds of people. There are several parking spaces for cars and motorcycles in front of the store, so if you're lucky, you can find a spot.

My most common orders are assorted noodles, braised noodles, fast food, fried stinky tofu, steamed stinky tofu, fried dumplings, and shredded chicken noodles with eggs.

The assorted noodles are very delicious, and you will miss them if you don't eat them. In addition to the delicious soup, there are a variety of ingredients in it, including dried bamboo shoots, cabbage, corn, fresh mushrooms, tomatoes, enoki mushrooms, fungus, broccoli, etc.

The braised noodles are thick and elastic, with very tasty carrots and white radish, vegetarian meat made from shiitake mushrooms, and green vegetables. The soup base is boiled with old ginger, which is rich and flavorful. It is very warm when eaten in winter.

The fried stinky tofu is very delicious, with crispy skin and sweet and sour Taiwanese pickles. It is very satisfying to eat it with the crisp sound in one bite.

The steamed stinky tofu is two large pieces of stinky tofu, with old ginger and some mushrooms. The sauce is rich and warm when dipped in the tofu. Can be spicy.

You can choose your own fast food, and everything is delicious. I always order bitter melon, and his fried king oyster mushrooms are also delicious. The cauliflower comes in a mix of green and white, garnished with colorful peppers.

Desserts such as mung bean soup and white fungus and lotus seed soup are also delicious.

The only drawback is that the price increases every year! It would be very strange if there is no increase for a year. The assorted noodles I ate at the beginning cost 100 yuan, and now they cost 160 yuan, which is an astonishing increase. I hope it doesn’t go up any further!
