The "Thai Milk Drink Food Truck," is a mobile beverage stand that I stumbled upon while participating in the Capo Run in Tainan. Since it is a movable cart without a fixed location, you have to pay attention to their fan page to keep track of where they set up. This time, I ordered two drinks—Coconut Thai Milk and Thai Style Milk Tea. Both impressed me, with great taste; they weren't as cloyingly sweet as regular Thai milk, but rather had a refreshing quality, making them perfect for a hot day.
What makes the Coconut Thai Milk special is its subtle coconut aroma, which lends it a bit more of a tropical feel compared to the Thai Style Milk Tea, though I suspect the base of both drinks is the same. While the flavors are very satisfying, I should mention that the service can be a bit slow, so you might have to wait a little longer. If you don’t mind spending a bit of extra time for your drink, this stand's Thai milk is definitely worth trying.
Overall, the drinks sold by this Thai milk cart not only quench your thirst but are also fresher than ordinary Thai milk, making them ideal for those who enjoy a slightly sweet taste. The next time I run into them at another event, I will definitely stop by again!
