Taipei Dahu Park Station - Previously, I unexpectedly discovered a restaurant specializing in oyster omelets when I visited Dahu Park. They also serve milkfish soup, seafood fried noodles, and more, with fresh and delicious ingredients! The name of the restaurant is quite a memorable pun, haha.
📍 Double Egg Oyster Omelet NT$95
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘
This is quite a large portion, with two eggs, fresh oysters, bean sprouts, and bok choy. The oysters are relatively fresh, but unfortunately, I encountered a bit of dirty shell fragments. The sauce is slightly sweet, but it complements the dish well. The sweet potato starch gives it a chewy texture with a slight crispy edge from being pan-fried, very nice!
📍 Boneless Milkfish Belly Soup (Small) NT$95
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌖
The fish soup is fresh and tasty, with a bit of shredded ginger for flavor. The overall seasoning is just right and not too salty. The milkfish belly is a whole piece, rich in oil; if you want fish and soup, I highly recommend this!
▶️ Environment
🔹 The indoor seating is acceptable, with about 9 tables for four, accommodating 20-30 people.
🔹 The decor style is simple Taiwanese, clean and bright.
🔹 Cutlery and sauce area are self-service.
▶️ Friendly Reminder
🔹 After entering the restaurant, take a menu, find a seat, and fill it out. Order at the counter.
🔹 You need to pay first; they only accept cash.
▶️ Overall Evaluation
🔹 Although the prices are not considered budget-friendly, the overall meals taste quite good. However, the server was a bit unfriendly, with a rather fierce attitude when handling the checkout and serving the dishes. He didn’t say thank you often, definitely has personality. I highly recommend this place for those who want to eat oyster omelets!
