At the second floor of Far Eastern SOGO in Hsinchu on Xidalu Road, I always have to walk in a whole circle to find it each time I come. Sometimes, I need to circle twice, XD. My sense of direction is really bad.

The interior features a Japanese wooden warm-colored decor. The space is spacious, and there's a good distance between tables, so it's unlikely to disturb each other.

On a weekday afternoon at 5 PM, there was only our group of customers. As it got later, more people arrived, but it basically doesn't get fully booked. They arranged a table for four for us. The tabletop space is quite comfortable, but it needs to be cleaned more frequently to make room for additional dishes.

The self-service bar has a soda machine, ice cream, seaweed soup, rice, and curry sauce. Whether you choose to order a la carte or eat all-you-can-eat, you can utilize the self-service bar.

The first time I ate here was in Tainan. I came back to Hsinchu because they have ice cream red tea, but the overall experience wasn’t as good as in Tainan.

This time, after a while (I came for the ice cream red tea, XD), I felt that the overall quality of the meat has improved. And since there weren't many customers, the service speed was very quick.

This time I chose the all-you-can-eat plan for $949 per person. We ordered via QR code, and a robot came to deliver the food to our table for us to pick up. We could also place used plates for it to take back. Overall, the dining experience was quite good, although some dishes were still lacking.

Pork diaphragm with salt sauce: I ordered a portion of this unfamiliar cut. The meat was a bit thick and took longer to cook, and it had a very strong fishy taste.

Cotton candy sukiyaki beef belly: There was cotton candy on top of the meat. After it was served, we poured the sukiyaki sauce over and grilled it on a rack. The visual experience was great, but the sukiyaki sauce is sweet and savory, and with the cotton candy, it became too sweet and cloying. If you’re an adventurous eater, you can try it, but I wouldn’t recommend it for the average person.

Honey black pepper pork belly: This seasoning was great! The spiciness of the black pepper is enveloped by the honey, and the thickness of the pork slices was just right.

Scallion bomb pork belly: It came with a pile of scallion salt, XD.

Thick-cut bacon: The bacon was quite thick and took some time to grill, but when cooked, it had a great texture and wasn't overly seasoned. As long as it isn’t overcooked, I would definitely order more.

Shaky fries with salted seaweed: They give you a paper bag so you can shake them yourself. The fries are thin.

Butter water lily: There was a bit too much garlic, completely overwhelming the flavor with garlic QAQ.

Ice cream red tea: The red tea tasted like traditional red tea and was slightly sweet on its own. The vanilla ice cream mixed in covered the astringency of the tea, making it delicious (✪ω✪).

The performances of the other dishes were also pretty good. This return visit has improved our impression of the restaurant.
