Zhongzheng District, Taipei - Authentic Thai cuisine hidden in the alleys. This is the thickest and most delicious moon shrimp cake I have ever eaten!
📍Moon Shrimp Cake NT$390
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
This shrimp cake is really "shrimp"! Just looking at the thickness is amazing! I didn’t expect it to be even more amazing after eating it! Crispy on the outside and not greasy! The filling is plump and chewy, and the shrimps are very present! The dipping sauce is even more outstanding, with a hint of ebony aroma, sour and sweet, very refreshing, it completely elevates the flavor of this shrimp cake to another level, it’s so good! Please accept my five stars~~
One portion is cut into eight pieces in total. This dish is highly recommended and would make you want to bring friends over to try it! It's a pity that it's not simple at this price point XD
📍Steamed lemon fish NT$380
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘
The sauce is very good, with a spicy and sour theme, a hint of lemon aroma, and the middle note brings out the strong aroma of nine-layer pagoda, celery, and coriander! It is finished with minced garlic, minced chili pepper, fish sauce and other seasonings. It is delicious and the sauce is perfect when poured over rice. The fish is fresh and has no fishy smell. The only penalty is that the fish scales are not shaved off, which makes the fish taste very bad when eating!
📍Cauliflower with shrimp paste NT$150
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
The smell of shrimp paste hits your nostrils as soon as this dish is served, which is slightly thin and thick. There are shredded fungus, scallions, and minced garlic in the dish for seasoning, and it is full of aroma! Unfortunately, I think the whole question is too oily and the taste is slightly salty, but
It’s a great addition to rice, and it’s also a rice-killer!
📍White rice NT$25/person (renewable for free)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
The unique jasmine aroma of Thai rice is what Thai cuisine needs! Thai sauce and other things will make you a rice killer~ (Help the poor rice QQ, burp! Eat well)

▶️ Overall evaluation
🔹 It would be more cost-effective to eat together with four or more people (inclusive)! Because you can share a little bit of each dish XD, each order is very pricey! There were only two of us, my friend and I, and we were so full after just ordering three dishes!
🔹 The service staff sounds like they are Thai by their accent, and the service is very friendly. The overall feeling during the meal is very authentic.
🔹 All in all, I recommend this place! Will want to come back again to eat with more people and try out other different dishes!
