"Want to Toss the Pot" is located on Zhongpo South Road. The address previously belonged to Jingchuanwu Zhongpo Store, and it seems like the entire establishment has been updated, but the staff appears unchanged.
"Want to Toss the Pot" uses distinctive Q-version characters as the image of the store, which reminds people of some trendy cultural style shops that have recently emerged. Upon closer inspection, I found that "Want to Toss the Pot" is actually part of a group that includes "Want to Meet Noodles," "Want to Touch Fish," and others under the Haoxiang Catering Company. There are also two brands, Xiangweizhuan and Jingchuanwu, that seem less related to the same company.
Today we enjoyed a Spicy Pork Hotpot and a Sauerkraut Fish Hotpot, totaling 430 yuan.
Spicy Pork Hotpot:
We chose mild spiciness; the spicy flavor is very appetizing. There are two kinds of vegetables; although not many, they are fresh, and the pork is tender and not tough, with a well-balanced spiciness.
Sauerkraut Fish Hotpot:
The fish fillet is quite fresh, and from the perspective of an individual hotpot, the price is a bit high, but the flavor meets expectations. If you can't handle too much spiciness, you can remove the dried chili peppers on top; otherwise, it will get spicier the more you cook it. This dish also pairs very well with white rice.
Overall, it represents a new challenge for emerging chain restaurants. However, this is based on the availability of unlimited rice and drinks during the opening period; if later there are extra charges for rice, the value of this place will drop significantly.
For energetic partners, you can conveniently convert the Jingchuanwu Zhongpo Store into a permanent closure.
Highly recommended to everyone!
