This restaurant is actually quite famous in this small town. If you ask the locals, they often recommend this place, especially suggesting that you try the pork ribs. Today, I came here based on the recommendation from the staff at the hotel where I’m staying. Fortunately, there aren’t too many people dining in the restaurant, and the weather is pleasant, making it very comfortable to sit outside!
As soon as we arrived at the entrance, we were seated at a great table. Their service is absolutely commendable, and the menu items are clear and easy to choose from. Today, we ordered:
❤️ BBQ Pork Ribs
This is a classic here, so everyone generally orders it. We only got a half portion, but it still came with around seven rib pieces. The portion is quite generous, and you can also choose side dishes. We opted for corn 🌽 and onion rings. The sauce paired with everything was incredibly delicious, and the ribs were very tender, with no difficulty at all in eating them; instead, we couldn't stop at just one!
❤️ Fried Pickles
I had never ordered this before, so when I saw the description, I thought I’d give it a try. It was indeed very appetizing and provided a different flavor when paired with the ribs!
❤️ Mexican Jalapeño Cornbread
I often eat cornbread, but this was my first time seeing it paired with jalapeños. It actually doesn't taste spicy, but you can enjoy the aroma of the peppers. Plus, the cornbread itself isn’t too dry, ideally complemented by the butter they provide. If you don’t order a main dish, this cornbread is also a great choice!
Overall, I would recommend it. If you’re unsure of what to eat, you can check it out. However, I don’t think it’s a must-visit place; there are plenty of other special restaurants nearby worth exploring!
