This restaurant is the most famous one in this small town. It is located inside a hotel 🏨, but the restaurant itself is actually more renowned than the hotel. If you want to dine here, you must make a reservation in advance; otherwise, you might not even be able to get in for a wine tasting!

As soon as we arrived at the entrance, a staff member was waiting by the door. After waiting for about two or three minutes, we were allowed to enter and sit down at the restaurant 🍴. The menu here has two different types of courses: one with three dishes and one with five dishes. Besides the appetizers, each option has two choices! My friends and I usually like to share, so aside from one pasta dish 🍝 that I wasn't particularly interested in, we shared everything else.

Some dishes that left a strong impression on me were:
❤️ Oysters:
The first dish served was raw oysters 🦪, which I love. The oysters looked like they had a sauce, but the flavor was quite simple. It not only brought out the natural sweetness of the oysters but also enhanced their fresh taste!

❤️ Tuna:
What was special about this dish was that they used beets and onions to create a fresh, slightly sweet flavor to pair with the fish. This not only eliminated the fishy taste but also made the fish taste sweeter!

❤️ Cauliflower:
This dish really amazed me. I had never imagined that cauliflower could be made into such a flavor. The cauliflower was lightly roasted, giving it a slight crunch while still maintaining its tenderness. They also paired it with an aroma reminiscent of scallion oil, along with quinoa, almonds, and raisins, creating a perfectly balanced flavor. I would gladly eat another serving of this dish! Both I and my friend could not stop praising it; this dish alone completely won us over!

The earlier dishes were so perfect that we had overly high expectations for the main course. However, the fish in the main course was slightly overcooked, possibly because the fish itself had a firmer texture. Therefore, I didn’t have a strong preference for this fish 🐟, but the flavor was still quite harmonious! The steak was cooked to perfection, but because the earlier dishes were so remarkable, I felt that the steak was just a good steak 🥩.

As for desserts, I personally thought the passion fruit tart was quite nice, as its tangy sweetness provided a perfect ending to the meal. The tartness was higher than the sweetness, so it didn't feel overly rich. The other dessert was a clear chocolate and honeycomb creation, which is something Americans tend to enjoy. Even though it was noticeably less sweet, for Asians, it might still be a bit too sweet! So while the texture was good, if you love sweets, you would probably love it, but if you generally eat less sugar, finishing that dessert might be a bit challenging!

Overall, I highly recommend dining here. Since this whole town is known for producing red and white wines, many people enjoy pairing wine with their meals. I think it's a great experience, and you can select their wine pairings to enhance the aroma of each dish. If you're traveling nearby, make sure to make a reservation and enjoy it!
