Growing up, I couldn't resist chicken soup and fish soup. Plus, I love dry noodles. This store has a set meal with good soup + noodles. I really like this combination!
"Hua Yi Yi Ji Nanyang Store" was originally located on Nanyang Street, but later moved to a hidden alley in Lane 17, Nanyang Street, and reopened at the beginning of this year.
The decoration of the new store has become more fashionable. The main color of dark brown is very similar to the style of a coffee shop. The space has become more spacious, the number of seats has increased, and the overall feeling is more comfortable.
The signature dishes here are mainly noodles and soups, but there are also rice dishes to choose from, such as curry rice, chicken rice, spicy chicken rice, etc.
I ordered chicken stew + dandan noodles $190
I chose Dandan noodles because the sign outside the store said that this type of noodle is "the most popular among Japanese!". My interest was instantly piqued and I ordered it. Dandan sauce is hand-fried minced meat, raw onions, and sesame seeds. Made with other spices, it tastes very salty and spicy. It is a very strong noodle. It is delicious and tastes good, but it needs to be eaten with water or soup.
There are three pieces of chicken in the chicken stew soup. The meat is very soft and tender. After finishing it, I still feel that it is not enough! The chicken soup is a bit salty, with a lot of pepper added. Although it doesn’t taste bad, I originally hoped it would be more natural and more flavorful.
My friend ordered seabass soup + pepper and sesame noodles for $190
I took a bite of the pepper and sesame noodles and found the pepper and sesame flavor to be quite fragrant. The spiciness seemed to be about the same as that of Dandan noodles. I didn’t drink the seabass soup, but my friend said it was quite delicious~
Overall, I think the meal performance is 80 points, but the price is a bit expensive. If the noodles and soup can be less than $150, I may eat it once every two weeks.
