Soma is quite a well-known specialty fresh milk tea shop! Personally, when I go to Soma, I only drink the Yuan Essence Tea Latte for $120, and I highly recommend it! However, it's limited daily, so if you go in the evening, it's usually sold out—if you want to drink it, you might want to go buy it in the afternoon. 👌
The Yuan Essence Tea Latte was a new item launched for their tenth anniversary, and due to its immense popularity, it has now become a permanent menu item! This drink cannot have its sweetness or ice adjusted. It uses five types of black tea + small farm fresh milk, and honey is used to enhance the flavor. The taste is truly rich, especially as the ice slowly melts, the flavor of the milk tea changes gradually, allowing you to experience many layers of tea aroma. I really like it!
Usually, I drink pure tea without sugar, and I usually have milk tea with just a bit of sugar; this drink isn’t too sweet, so most people should be able to accept it!
Additionally, I recently noticed that the crowds seem to have shifted to UG, so there’s not much of a line anymore. 🤣
