This time I ordered the 1994 Chun Yong Hong Sauo Beef Noodles (which means braised in soy sauce😅). It was labeled with the year and the quality of Chun Niang. I thought it would be seasoned with some wine or something, but it didn’t taste like it...
Soup: The braised soup tastes quite smooth and is not overly salty. I remember that the braised soup comes with butter. If it is not flavorful, you can add it.
Noodles: You can choose wide noodles, which taste chewier and the soup will stick to the noodles better.
Meat: The beef is cut into medium-sized and thick pieces, and it tastes tender and won’t get stuck in your teeth.
Especially the tofu paper attached, it tastes good after sucking a little bit of the soup. As a tofu skin lover, I think it’s a nice little idea.
Although it is advertised as adding "drops of beef essence", a bowl of 260 people thinks it is a bit expensive. But the boss feels good. If you want to eat beef noodles in the afternoon but other restaurants are closed, you can consider checking it out.
