This small snack stand in Pingtung really has a local flavor, with affordable prices and decent taste. I ordered a bowl of large plain noodles for just 50 TWD, and the portion was very generous. The noodles are thin and cooked just right, not too soft, paired with flavorful minced meat, making it very enjoyable.
The oyster omelette also left a deep impression, as it is prepared a bit differently from the usual way. The base is fried super crispy, like a large pancake, giving it a unique texture, while the sauce tends to be on the sweeter side.
The side dishes are cheap and of good quality; I tried several and they were all fine, although the intestines were a bit bitter, which was a pity. It’s a snack stand I would want to revisit, especially for the noodles and oyster omelette, which are quite distinctive.
