The Japanese-style small restaurant has been on my wish list for a long time, and I finally have the chance to try it out! There are only nine seats in the place; although the space is small, the atmosphere is fantastic. The overall environment is warm and has a traditional Japanese artisan style, so you definitely need to make a reservation in advance; otherwise, you might be disappointed.
The owner is super humorous, and his witty remarks made the whole dining experience full of laughter, which I personally really love. Plus, the owner is very generous; during our visit, he treated us to many small snacks, making us feel like we got a great deal!
Although the prices are on the higher side, every bite reflects the high quality of the ingredients. From the freshness of the fish to the texture of the rice, everything justifies the price. Whether it's the flavor of the rice bowls, the atmosphere of the restaurant, or the owner's personality, this dining experience was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this kind of warm, welcoming Japanese small restaurant.
