Fans of Kirby, don't miss the Kirby Cafe at Tokyo Skytree! Not only can you take photos with the adorable Kirby and Waddle Dee, but you can also immerse yourself in Kirby's world while enjoying many cute and exquisite themed dishes. Moreover, you can bring home exclusive coasters and tableware.

[How to Make a Reservation]

Reservations are required for the Tokyo Kirby Cafe!
You can't just walk in.

The reservation process is very simple. Just go to the Kirby Cafe's official website, select the branch you want, choose the time and number of people, and enter your basic information.

Compared to the Fukuoka branch, the Tokyo Skytree branch is very popular, and reservations usually get snatched up immediately upon release. So be sure to watch the time and be ready at your computer to secure your reservation!

📅 Reservations open at 18:00 Japan time (17:00 Taiwan time) on the 10th of each month for the entire next month.

When making a reservation, you need to provide:

Chinese name (Staff will check your passport to ensure it's you)
Katakana (There are online tools to convert Chinese to Japanese Katakana)
Email
Requests for birthday singing, special dining needs, etc.

It's recommended to have all this information prepared in a notepad in advance so you can just copy and paste it during the booking.

From my personal experience visiting several times, you need to go online as soon as it opens at 17:00, immediately select your desired date, pick any dining time (don't take too long, getting the reservation is what matters), quickly copy and paste your information, and you should succeed in booking a reservation.

🎂 Special Birthday Requests

There's an option to select if you want the staff to help you celebrate your birthday. If selected, on that day, the staff will present a small dessert plate and change the restaurant's background music to the Happy Birthday song...

Then all the staff and guests will celebrate with you, making you the center of attention in the restaurant. It's very sincere, but those who are shy might want to think twice 😂

[How to Get There for Dining]

Take the Japanese subway to "Oshiage Station," which is Tokyo Skytree Station. After exiting, take the elevator to the 4th floor of Skytree, and you'll see the Kirby Cafe outside. Arrive about 5 minutes before your reservation time and wait on the outside chairs before checking in.

[Dining Experience]

When entering, the staff at the door will ask if you want to take a photo with Kirby and Waddle Dee, with the option to hold oversized forks and spoons, which is super cute!

The Kirby Cafe releases limited-time seasonal dishes for each season, which are only available in that season (this is why I visit so many times).

During my visit in October, they had their autumn menu 🍁, so we ordered all of the autumn exclusive dishes.

I must say the official Kirby team is very sincere. Every dish perfectly fits the theme of Kirby's world, and the car-shaped Kirby is super cute! Lots of tableware are also Kirby-themed, making for great photos.

Aside from the appearance of the dishes, I think there's room for improvement in the taste:

🤔 Most of the drinks are overly sweet, possibly due to added whipped cream, icing, and other decorative elements for photo appeal but not for drinking enjoyment.

🤔 Some dessert decorations, though edible, also fall on the excessively sweet side.

However, the dishes are generally satisfactory, and the overall dining experience is a full 100 in immersion. The staff is also extremely cute and polite, regardless of gender.

Transform! Car-Swallowing Cake ¥2178 (Tax Included) The special health-replenishing item from the Waddle Dee Café in the game "Kirby and the Forgotten Land" has become a real dish at Kirby Café! The car-Kirby themed dessert, embodying the level crafted out of fruits and sweets, is a sponge cake filled with fruit jam and wrapped in a strawberry pudding mousse, delivering a fluffy texture ♪ The matcha powder and puffs beside it create the appearance of a city jungle background, making the entire dessert look incredibly high-quality and perfect for photos!

Cutting into it really gives a bouncy, jelly-like texture, like a pudding, and it tastes sweet but not overwhelming. The tires are made from chocolate chips shaped like stars, which are quite cute. This dish is a must-order when you visit the Kirby Café. ✨

Wispy Woods' Bountiful Feast Plate ¥2948 (tax included) Chicken seasoned with apple ginger sauce, paired with omelet in the shape of star-shaped blocks. Turmeric rice is made into a curved star-shaped ride (the one Kirby rides), and inside the large tree 🌳 ceramic baking cup is a platter of potato salad and thick soup. I think this dish is also very perfect in both appearance and deliciousness: - The chicken cooked with the special sauce is very flavorful, and the chicken is juicy - The omelet in the shape of the iconic star blocks from the game is super cute - The turmeric-flavored rice adds more layers of texture to the whole dish - The ceramic baking cup, inspired by the forest scenes in the game, beautifies the potato salad and looks great in any picture Ordering this dish comes with a small Kirby or Waddle Dee ceramic figurine (choice of one), and I chose Waddle Dee~

The bottom has a rich onion soup, which is very appetizing and delicious.

Kirby's Crispy Sweet Potato Sticks ¥1298 (tax included) 🍁 Limited Edition Autumn Dish These sweet potato fries are crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. Each piece is long and satisfying, and although they are fried, they are not greasy at all. The aroma of rosemary adds a wonderfully refreshing flavor. Using Kirby's big mouth as a container is also very creative. Hurry up and enjoy them before Kirby gobbles them all up!

Chef Kawasaki's Special ★ Autumn Salmon Milk Soup ~ With Warp Star-like Eggs Benedict ~ ¥2178 (tax included) Chef Kawasaki's Special ★ Autumn Salmon Cream Soup ~ Featuring Warp Star Shaped Eggs Benedict ~ 🍁 Autumn Limited Menu The highlight is, of course, that pot of soup! 🥣 The creamy soup is cooked until the potatoes have melted, and it's filled with plenty of salmon and vegetables. Paired with the star-shaped, ingredient-rich Eggs Benedict toast, even the big eaters from Pupupu Land (Kirby) will be satisfied with this autumn dish! The pots used for the soup are sold in the store area, and I bought one to use with plush toys—it's perfect!

Inside there are adorable slices of Rødovre cheese.

The large tree is located in the dining area, and it is very eye-catching and dazzling. It's almost like being in a game world, with a super immersive feeling.
