Bracelet Reviewer: There is a restroom
Yun Chuan Thai and Burmese Restaurant is located in Zhonghe, specializing in Thai and Burmese cuisine. It has been in business for a long time and is conveniently near Jing'an MRT Station, though parking can be a bit inconvenient. The restaurant's interior is somewhat old, but the service attitude is good, the variety of dishes is rich, and the prices are reasonable; overall, it offers great value for money.
This time, we ordered a Meat Bun (破酥包) for 40 TWD, which is just a meat bun; Spicy Crispy Tofu (椒麻炸豆腐) for 120 TWD, which had a good aroma when freshly fried; Coconut Crispy Chicken (椰香脆皮雞) for 190 TWD, which had a strong coconut flavor; Fermented Tofu Water Spinach (腐乳空心菜) for 120 TWD; Shrimp Paste Cabbage (蝦醬高麗菜) for 120 TWD; Spicy Eggplant (豆瓣茄子) for 130 TWD, which was a bit greasy; Seafood Tofu Pot (海鮮豆腐煲) for 190 TWD, which was good with rice; Yunnan Spicy Chicken (雲南椒麻雞) for 190 TWD, which had thin meat; and Spicy Papaya Salad (涼拌青木瓜) for 130 TWD, which was moderately spicy; a bowl of white rice was 10 TWD.
Overall, this restaurant offers a rich variety of Southeast Asian dishes at affordable prices, suitable for those looking for a simple meal of Thai and Burmese food. However, the older environment may be a consideration for those who prioritize dining atmosphere.
