I came to the Yonghe Soy Milk shop on Nanshan Road and was drawn in by the large crowd. When I asked a friend, he said this place is quite famous.

I recommend the pepper bun! Most customers take them away in bags. It’s a dish that's immediately recognized as delicious—I originally thought I'd only eat half, but I couldn’t stop! The reasons it’s so good are:
- Crispy exterior (baked to a golden color)
- Just the right amount of peppery fragrance (not too little, but not overwhelmingly strong)
- Chewy dough
At $30 each, they are not cheap, but I’m willing to buy them again.
The rice ball is a traditional pork floss rice ball, without an egg. The fried dough stick is very crispy; overall, it has a good flavor, but it lacks an egg, which feels like something is missing. The rice ball from that shop at Taipei Main Station is still the best, but this one can be ranked second.
