Luckily had a room in the attached hotel and could enjoy an early dinner at the Lake House. And the happy hour which is every day between 3 and 5 PM.
The restaurant is of a charming open air cafe style and located at a small pond.
We had the Hickory Smoked & Pulled Pork BBQ and the World Famous Wild Bills (ribs). Both came dry rubbed smoked for 12 hours making it fall apart almost just by looking at it. As sauce three home made bbq sauces were served so one could choose between the different styles, very nice.
