It has been more than 12 years since Nagi Ramen debuted in 2012.
It is still one of the main players in the ramen chain industry in Taipei.
What we enjoyed today was the limited-edition "Crab King" with different flavors every week, priced at 380.
When the ramen was served, the whole soft-shell crab in the middle was very eye-catching and tasted very crispy and delicious.
The noodle body can be freely adjusted to up to five levels of hardness. I chose fine noodle and hard.
The rich soup of Japanese ramen is paired with the slightly hard noodle, and I think that by timing my meal, I can get the noodle to have just the right texture.
But maybe the seasoning was not right. Apart from the excellent soft-shell crab, the soup this time was a bit greasy. As the meal lasted, the greasiness became more intense. Fortunately, I adjusted the taste by adding a lot of chopped green onions and free bean sprouts. , before I could barely finish the bowl.
I didn’t expect it would be so difficult to see the slogan on the bottom of the bowl this time.
The slogan on the bottom of the bowl comes from Fist of the North Star, "My tonkotsu has no regrets."
Friends who were traveling with us shared the extra Japanese fried chicken and Japanese dumplings.
The fried chicken performed quite well, and the lemon and mayonnaise that comes with it are always a perfect match with the fried chicken.
The shape of the dumplings is quite special, almost round. The taste of the Japanese dumplings dipped in sauce is a bit sour and sweet. The overall taste is a bit hard to describe, but the large amount of grated radish in the middle tastes quite good and effectively adjusts the eating rhythm.
The performance of free bean sprouts and sauerkraut that are freely available is still stable.
Although this limited edition is a bit unsatisfactory, if there are other limited editions that I am interested in, I will still visit.
Recommended to everyone.
