Oh no~ A new fried chicken shop has opened, time to gain weight again! 😅
One day, I passed by a buffet and wanted to grab a healthy dish.
It was awkward that it wasn't open, so I walked past the new fried chicken shop.
At the entrance, the lady who just bought soy milk chicken had some on her face.
She kept praising, saying: "Sister! This soy milk chicken is so delicious!"
After the lady said that, oh no, can I resist? 🥹🥹
The staff in the store were very polite.
They informed me that I didn't have to wait for the items displayed on the counter.
However, the other items required some waiting.
And this time I ordered:
Soy Milk Chicken $50
Sweet Plum French Fries $50
Chicken Wings $50
The soy milk chicken was indeed excellent, just as the lady said!
The thin skin was crispy.
The meat was very juicy, made from chicken thighs. 👍🏻
The marinade had a rich soy milk flavor.
It was clearly different from regular salt and pepper chicken.
The quality here puts the old and famous soy milk chicken shop “Ali” in jeopardy.
Because the portion size at Penghu Xiang is equivalent to a large size at Ali, costing $100.
In terms of quality, price, and portion size,
it far exceeds Ali's soy milk chicken. 🥹🥹
As for the sweet plum french fries I ordered,
I had to wait a very long time, and the boss guided me to change to something else.
I ended up switching to regular french fries and fried chicken.
I felt the taste was similar to that of regular salt and pepper chicken.
It was just average, so I won't introduce it further!
