Ramen Peter is located in the alley behind Zhongxiao Sogo, Section 4, Da'an Road. It is approximately at the intersection of Lane 49 and Lane 52, Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road. It is a bit inconspicuous, so you have to look for it.
What I enjoyed today was the special salt ramen, priced at 300 yuan.
Special salt ramen:
The golden soup of salt ramen is quite clear, the taste is very delicate, the noodles are moderately soft and hard, and the texture is good.
The diced onions also provide a nice sweet and fresh taste.
The chicken leg barbecued pork in the middle is quite thick but soft and tender. The cheese powder and bean sprouts on the top give two taste changes between refreshing and thick, which I find quite interesting.
The thinly sliced barbecue pork has a bold visual effect, and the aroma of the smoked meat is also quite obvious.
There is also a small rub of yellow mustard on the barbecued pork to provide a different flavor which is also interesting.
Next is the specialty of this ramen shop, the flavor plate.
The salt ramen is served on a small plate with porcini mushroom sauce on a small spoon and oyster sauce on the plate.
Since the essence is so concentrated, of course you have to try the original flavor first. The rich mushroom flavor and rich seafood hit you like an overwhelming force, which is impressive.
But when it comes to ramen, after all, the flavor-changing sauce base is only a small spoonful and a small dish. The style change brought to the entire bowl of ramen will not be too drastic. I think it is a quite moderate taste change, not only Fun and quite delicious.
The boss has a background in French cuisine. He combines ramen with elements of French cuisine to create a style where you can eat more than one side. It is quite exciting to see how many interesting changes can be made in a bowl of ramen.
Overall, there are currently only two flavors in the store: salt and soy sauce, but they have created quite delicious and interesting ramen flavor variations. The boss said that he is still developing other flavors, so let’s look forward to it. I will definitely visit again of.
