I recently dined at the Paradise Dynasty located in Taipei Station. I chose a weekday evening and arrived around 6 PM. The restaurant was crowded, and there was a line to grab food. Dining hours are from 5:30 to 9:30, and there is quite a variety of dishes, including sashimi, fried items, cold dishes and salads, a teppanyaki area, drinks and fruits, desserts, etc.
Among them, the sashimi and teppanyaki areas were the most popular. The sashimi was fresh and had a good texture worth trying. Although the grilled steak was a bit undercooked, it was still decent. The diced beef from the teppanyaki area was also pretty good and definitely a must-try. The stir-fried clams with basil had a nice flavor, and the taro balls and sesame balls were quite appealing from the dim sum section. The caramelized grapefruit and cheesecake were also quite nice.
However, the replenishment speed for dishes was rather slow; I went back several times and still didn’t get some popular items. Overall, although there are some minor details that could be improved, the overall dining experience has its advantages. It's worth a try, and the price is relatively cheap compared to other buffet options.
