This time, I visited ‘Wangfujing’, a specialty shop for xiaolongbao with five locations on the main street of Yokohama Chinatown, just a 4-minute walk from Motomachi-Chukagai Station!
‘Wangfujing’ is a new standard in Yokohama Chinatown, particularly renowned for spreading the delicious fried xiaolongbao【Yaki Xiaolongbao】 to Japan, impressing many food lovers since its establishment. The very popular【Yaki Xiaolongbao】 originated from the strict dedication of the chefs to flavor.
‘Wangfujing’ is said to be a hidden gem frequently featured on television and magazines, frequented by chefs from Yokohama Chinatown, and is an authentic Chinese restaurant. The first floor is a sales booth, so if you visit Yokohama, be sure to indulge in some Chinese cuisine♪
The signature product of our store, 【Authentic Sheng Jian Bao (Masamune Shenchan Bao)】, is a type of Shanghai xiaolongbao cooked quickly in a high-temperature iron pan, allowing you to experience three textures: crispy, chewy, and juicy. Now, it has become a new specialty enjoyed by many in Yokohama Chinatown, selling 50,000 pieces a day.
